Visa for Greenland and Faroe Islands - Visum til Grønland og Færøerne

Greenland and Faroe Islands are not members of Schengen. If you have a Schengen residence permit, you need a separate visa to visit these countries. You can apply for a tourist visa for Greenland/Faroe Islands at the Danish Embassy if you have a permanent residency in Iceland. Please note that the application process is 14 days. 

The Danish Embassy in Reykjavik does not issue visa for tourists on a short stay in Iceland, only residents in Iceland.

Grønland og Færøerne er ikke medlemmer af Schengen. Derfor skal folk med opholdstilladelse i Schengen søge om visum for at besøge disse lande. Du kan ansøge om turistvisum til Grønland/Færøerne på Danmarks ambassade, hvis du har fast bopæl i Island. Vær opmærksom på, at ansøgningsprocessen tager 14 dage. 

Danmarks ambassade i Reykjavik udsteder ikke visum til turister, der har kortvarigt ophold i Island, kun personer med fast bopæl.
