The Faroe Islands maintain same credit rating

The credit rating company Moody’s has now released its final assignment of the Faroe Islands’ rating. Like in the preceding two years, the Faroe Islands have been assigned an Aa3 rating, which is the fourth highest rating of 21 possible ratings.

Moody’s believes that the Faroese economy is resilient enough to withstand the EU’s trade sanctions, which is why it has decided not to downgrade the Faroe Islands’ rating this year.
